This true black herdsire has the most dense, tightly locked fiber that Alpaca Jacks has seen on a very dark animal. He's black
to the skin with a gray top knot. He has excellent conformation, coverage, and luster! Fine Threads has proven to be one of the
top producing true black herdsires in the country. With over 63 offspring on the ground to date over 50% are female and 100%
have been suri! You can't beat those odds. 19 of his offspring are blue-ribbon winners, with many of those also taking
champsionships. His sire, Renzo has been nominated for the Futurity numerous times, and we feel that Fine Threads will follow
in his footsteps. Fine Threads has proven to be an exceptional herdsire himself. He has proven to add tremendous lock
structure, density and luster to his offspring - very rare for a true black herdsire. His offspring are now proving themselves in the
showring with 19 of them winning blue ribbons with many going on to color championships. Fine Threads has thrown true black
offspring out of every color dam from white to gray. He has even thrown a few gray cria! Looking to add outstanding BLACK to
your breeding program? The vast majority of Fine Threads customers have been so pleased with his offspring that they have
sent their dams back to re breed to him. We're happy to offer multiple breeding discounts. Call us to book your breeding to Fine
Threads. We are confident that you will be a repeat customer as well. We co own Fine Threads with Dr. Mindy Wilson. Outside
breedings limited. Stud Fee: $3000 X breeding discounts

All Fiber Males listed on this page that are available for purchase have been tested negative for BVDV.
Fiber males are males that should only be utiilized for fiber production and not for breeding.
To secure the quality of breeding alpacas, Fiber males do not sell with breeding rights.
Only 5-10% of the alpaca males born in the U.S. are truly herdsire material.
The remaining 90-95% of alpaca males are typically gelded and are prized as fiber producers.
What might be considered a conformational or genetic fault to a breeder, such as blue eyes, knocked knees, short neck, or long legs, has absolutely no bearing on the quality of the alpaca's fiber.
